Missing Coast teen found safe and well

LATEST: THE Sunshine Coast teenager, reported missing from Tewatin has been located safe and well.

 

EARLIER: POLICE believe a missing Sunshine Coast teenager may have travelled interstate, possibly to Sydney, with officers appealing for anyone who may have seen her or know of her current whereabouts to contact police.

The seventeen-year-old left her Tewantin home on January 5, 2016 and was last seen in early February in Grafton, New South Wales. Her last contact on her social media accounts was on February 26.

She wass travelling with a 20-year-old man and on the 26th she advised they intended  heading to Sydney.

Police hold concerns for the teenager's welfare as she suffers from a medical condition and has failed to remain in contact with family or friends which is out of character.

She is described as Caucasian, 170cm tall with a medium build, fair complexion, black hair and brown eyes.

The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 165cms tall with a slim build, light brown hair and blue eyes.
