Minor flooding at Coraki

MINOR flooding continues at Coraki where the river level was 4.6 metres and falling slowly at 5.00am this morning.

It is expected to remain above minor flood level until tomorrow.

There is water over the bridges at Tatham closing the Casino/Coraki road.

At Bungawalbyn, the river level peaked near 4.3 metres around 11.45 pm Wednesday with minor flooding.
Some minor flooding will occur in low lying areas.

It is expected the river will peak at Woodburn at about 3.2 metres this morning.

The SES advises that people camping, caravanning and engaging in activities near rivers and streams should check for updates and advices, camp well away from watercourses and streams and be particularly aware that roads leading away from un-established camp sites could be affected before camping areas.
