WALKING THE DOG: Are you and your pets ready to step out for the RSPCA?

Million paws are ready to walk

PET owners on the Coffs Coast are prepared to put their paws to the floor to fight animal cruelty with the 22nd annual RSPCA Million Paws Walk is just a few days away.

Already more than 6,200 people have signed up across the state with almost $110,000 raised online.

But with a fundraising goal of $375,000 there is still more to be done.

RSPCA NSW CEO Steve Coleman says all animal lovers are welcome, "no matter your dog's age, size, breed or ability - all pooches are welcome for a fantastic doggy day out!"

No four-legged friend? Not to worry, even those without pooches are welcome to join in the fun.

Fundraise $500 or more and become a member of the 500 Club where you will be given the VIP treatment throughout the day - including access to a designated 500 Club marquee and an exclusive start line.

Everyone who registers and sets up a fundraising page also gets a free portable water bowl. Register online and start fundraising to help animals in need.
