And there can only be one winner!

First, in the white corner, the challenger, an albino echidna, dubbed 'Spinesy' by the Seniors News crew, which became an overnight internet sensation when it was filmed scrounging around for a snack in Tasmania.

The little critter was a smash hit, racking up nearly 5,000 views, 500 likes and 250 shares on our Facebook page.

And in the, well, other white corner, the reigning champion, real-life, but far less destructive, Moby Dick: Migaloo the humpback whale.

The albino whale, which is a tourist attraction up and down the coast, helped Lennox Head photographer Craig Parry claim the Underwater Category at the Golden Turtle awards in Russia.

But can Migaloo's international recognition top the viral sensation that is 'Spinesy'?

The choice is yours Australia!
