Midwives converge on Coffs

COFFS Harbour will play host to more than 200 midwives this week when the NSW Midwives State Conference begins on Friday.

Midwives will hear from speakers on the important part they play in the future of maternity services in Australia.

Coffs Harbour Maternity Action Group spokeswoman Claire Simmonds said our area is 'privileged' to have the world's best practitioners in town for the conference. The conference is at Pacific Bay Resort and runs on Friday and Saturday.
