From Mid East to Coffs Coast

THE Coffs Harbour coastline is a long way from the desert sands of Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Oman, but soon the destinations will come together.

For the first time, the Arab nations are bringing a tourism roadshow to Australia to promote the Arabian Peninsula as a holiday destination stopping here in Coffs Harbour next month.

Three tourism bodies, the Dubai Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing, the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and the Sultanate of Oman Tourism will present to more than 300 travel agents across the country.

Julie King, director, Dubai Tourism, Australia & New Zealand representative office, said experiencing the diversity of the three destinations was the perfect way to be immersed in Arabian culture.

The Arabian Peninsula roadshow will visit Coffs Harbour on September 14.
