Marketing gurus to meet

THERE are still some places available for tourism operators in next week's Northern Rivers Tourism Symposium.

Tourism and small business marketing gurus will arrive in the region at the weekend to address the event, to be held at Peppers Salt Resort & Spa at Salt Village, Kingscliff, on Monday and Tuesday.

The program aims to combine presentations by the industry leaders with workshops and discussions on issues relevant to operators in regional areas.

“We still have some places available for tourism operators, large and small, who would like to attend,” said Northern Rivers Tourism chief executive Russell Mills.

The program would be relevant to related industries such as restaurants, food producers, the arts community, and sporting and education groups, among others, he said.
