Market overflows with festive love

WHAT started out as a school fete a few years ago has grown into a concept warmly embraced by the community.

The Made With Love Market was created with the philosophy that profits go back into the pockets of local people and small business owners.

Held three times a year, now at C.ex Coffs, all items are locally handmade or designed and you are purchasing direct from the maker.

To accommodate the many stallholders wanting to take part today, organiser Alison Paul is opening up a second market area in C.ex Coffs.

“We booked out over 100 stalls so quickly this upcoming Christmas market,” Ms Paul said.

“We will now be holding a second area of the market downstairs in the Vista Lounge, directly beneath the existing market area.”

There will be 135 creative stallholders at the Sunday market, with a large variety of quality handmade items that will make ideal Christmas presents.

“I love the premise of supporting small and supporting local, and you can’t get more local than buying directly from the mums, dads, grandparents and others who have made a business out of making items to sell that in turn directly support their families.”

The market opens from 9am–2pm at C.ex Coffs.

Entry is by gold coin to the Coffs Coast CanDo Cancer Trust.
