Market move

BOWRAVILLE’S Producers Market Day is on this Friday.

It’s not its usual time slot as the markets have been moved especially to coincide with the Social Enterprise for Wellbeing and Mental Health Conference which begins tomorrow in the Bowraville Theatre.

Thanks to the conference, the markets are expecting a larger-than-normal crowd and stallholders are stocking their tables and baskets accordingly.

The conference will feature a broad range of nationally recognised speakers, workshops and site visits and has already attracted bookings from delegates around the country.

Market organisers, the MiiMi Aboriginal Corporation, said they are thrilled to be able to be part of this boost to the town’s tourism.

Special guests on the day will be performers Barry and Carmen Noble, who will entertain the crowd in front of Grants Hall from 11am.

The Bowraville Market Day consists of an abundant and varied range of fresh produce, plants, local crafts and interesting collectables.

For further information or stall bookings contact Karina Scarth on 6564 8855.
