Man charged for Big Banana robbery

A COFFS Harbour man has been given community service for his part in a break-in at Coffs Harbour’s iconic Big Banana.

Joshua Felton, 19, has been found guilty of helping another man Brendon Luke Dodd, 20, to force entry to a shed at the Pacific Highway tourist attraction on February 3 and 4.

The court heard the pair kicked a hole in the door before stealing paintball masks, paintball pellets and protective vests.

Appearing in Coffs Harbour Local Court on a charge of break and enter, Felton was ordered to serve 300 hours community service and pay courts costs of $76.

Dodd meanwhile, is currently serving 15-months periodic detention for his part in the crime.
