Man hospitalised after three vehicle accident

UPDATE: A MAN has been admitted to hospital after a three-vehicle accident in Toormina this morning.

The incident occurred when a Ford Falcon, travelling northbound on Toormina Rd, rear-ended into a truck  turning right into Hulberts Rd. A third vehicle then collided with the Falcon.

The 29-year-old male driver of the Falcon reportedly received leg injuries and was admitted to Coffs Harbour Health Campus in a stable condition.

The area was closed to traffic while the scene was cleared.

Emergency Services said it was a timely reminder for road users to remember that at busy times of the day they need to pay careful attention to the road and the location of other vehicles.
