A MAN'S seven-day stint working at a petrol station landed him a date in Dalby Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.

The court heard Jack Cecil Sean Cooke, 25, plead guilty to one count of failure to comply when he failed to report his place of employment to his parole officer.

He commenced work on March 30 and left seven days later.

Magistrate Damian Carroll described the offence as "serious” and said Cooke was "in a very vulnerable position”.
