Man to face court for possession of knife in public place

A MAN has been charged for the possession of a knife in a public place.

The 21-year-old was caught by police with a pocket knife in Maryborough on Thursday night.

He was walking near Station Square about 11pm when police came across the man with a knife.

He will face Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on Friday.
