Man dies after crashing into tree overnight

A MAN has died after a single-vehicle crash in Tyringham overnight.

About 11pm last night, emergency services were called to Tyringham Road near Armidale Road at Tyringham, after reports a Holden Commodore left the roadway and struck a tree.

The male driver - and sole occupant of the vehicle - died at the scene.

Officers from Coffs-Clarence Police District attended and established a crime scene.
