Man bashed in motel

POLICE have charged two men over a nasty incident at Coffs Harbour's Golden Glow Motel.

Coffs/Clarence crime manager Detective Inspector Cameron Lindsay alleged a firearm was used in the assault of a man in one of the motel's rooms on Friday.

As a result, two men, aged 24 and 31, were yesterday charged with assault with intent to rob with wounding.

They were refused bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on April 14.

Police are still wanting to talk to a third man about the incident.
