Making pre-school a carnivale

THE unique pre-school group, Carnivalé Dance Co, is going ahead in leaps and bounds.

The petite performance school's Artist Director, Jacqueline Carniato, has been amazed with the city's talented mini performers.

"We have been so proud to present our dancing and singing program here in Coffs," Ms Carniato said.

"The local students have been challenged and excelled as they are encouraged to create, explore and to share in the fun of dance and experience the joy of music."

She said spaces were being made available for new enrollments for term three but bookings are essential due to strict class numbers.

Classes are held in the Coffs Harbour Scout Hall.

Each Tuesday and Thursday there is a Petite +1® class for two to three year old boys and girls with one responsible carer.

For boys and girls aged three to five there is a classical ballet and a combined jazz, funk and hip hop class and also new this term is a musical theatre class; which incorporates basic tap steps, musical instruments, listening and singing skills, voice projection and acting.
