Making a difference to lives of sufferers

YOU are invited to head on down for an Aussie snag and drinks to support a special cause.

Today, the Woolgoolga Lions Club is holding its local barbecue to support the CanDo Cancer Trust which supports people across the Coffs Coast and Clarence Valley.

Secretary for the Woolgoola Lions Club Ken Boyle said "unfortunately in 2016, there were 126 patients needing cancer treatment within the Coffs area”.

"It was most fortunate for these families that the CanDo Cancer Trust is in operation.”

CanDo Cancer provides direct financial assistance to local cancer patients and their families.

"The Trust assists patients and families with all sorts of quality of life costs and household bills like phone, gas, electricity and provision of vouchers for food and petrol.

Make your way down to the barbecue located at Woolworths in Woolgoolga.
