Major changes for Coast fast-food favourite

THE BURGERS are about to look a whole lot better as a popular Coast fast food restaurant embarks on a major facelift.

Hungry Jack's Maroochydore on Aerodrome Road, a crowd pleaser which has operated since June, 1987 and employs 58 people is undergoing a significant overhaul in a bid to freshen up the outlet.

The works will mean a tough few months for those who like to eat their burgers in-store, after the restaurant closed on January 29.

The drive-through facility will remain open though for those seeking a flame-grilled fix.

A full exterior upgrade and an interior refurbishment of the dining area awaits with workers on-site rapidly renewing the store.

The restaurant is likely to be reopened and ready for business in mid-March when the construction period finishes.
