Magic of micro-surgery video captures world's attention

THE future of surgery, already in use around the world, is equal parts awe-inspiring and chilling.

A short video intended to sell products from Intuitive Surgical is going viral, with more than 30 million views, as the public is given an up-close glimpse at how delicate these machines can be.

The one-minute clip shows the machine's ability to peel the skin from a grape then reattach it and stitch it back in place.

One Facebook user quickly pointed out that while the machines were impressive, the human surgeons controlling them deserve plenty of credit.
