Magic man set to play

MR MAGIC is back.

Group 2 legend Matt Donovan has returned to Macksville where his illustrious career began and captain-coach Troy Grace says his players are loving every moment.

"Matt wasn't quite ready for the first couple of games so we decided to delay his introduction until last week against Sawtell and he made quite an impression," he said.

"He puts confidence into the young players who all look up to him.

"We go into the match against Coffs with both sides unbeaten and while there's a need to clean up our error rate, winning form brings confidence and Matt's presence will add to that."

Coffs Harbour coach Colin Speed is on the lookout for complacency.

"Looking from the outside I realise we are looking pretty good but from the inside, the team still has a long way to go," he revealed.

"Enjoyment of the game is a big factor and I believe the Sea Eagles are looking forward to the day as much as we are.

"If we play to the professional standards we have set for ourselves, it will go a long way towards winning."
