THREE legends of Australian sport will break bread with the locals today at the second Legends Lunch conducted by Bonville International Golf Resort.
Club marketing manager Damien Tarbox said more than 130 bookings had already been received.
“Put that down to the reputations of the invited guests,” he said.
“The first time we tried the concept it was just John Eales discussing his life and career but as the Beijing Olympics were under way as we were doing the planning for this one, it was decided to include guests who could speak with authority on the subject.”
Despite the booming popularity of the luncheons, the Resort plans to hold them only twice-yearly at the moment.
