Looking for team members

CANCER Council volunteer, Jess Plummer, is a newcomer to Coffs Harbour, having recently moved here from Newcastle.

“I've always admired the work of the Cancer Council and am enjoying being able to contribute a little time each week to such a worthy cause,” Jess said.

Although she would love to participate in this year's Relay For Life fundraising event, Jess, like many other newcomers, does not yet know enough locals to form a team of her own.

The Cancer Council is encouraging everyone in this position to come along to the first Team Information Night at the Coffs Harbour Catholic Club on Monday, March 2, at 6.00pm, where they can register to be placed in a team.

This year's event will be held on Saturday, May 30-Sunday, May 31, at Marshall's Playing Fields.
