Long time business has its doors smashed in

THIEVES have smashed their way into an East Bundaberg business, stealing items and damaging the premises.

Craft Part Hire on Princess St had its front sliding glass door shattered by what by police believe was a bar before the offender or offenders took off with a number of sets of speakers.

The crime left upset staff with a mess to clean up on Tuesday morning and now they want their goods returned.

Sales representative Chris Murray said a witness had seen the commotion and called the police about 12.30am.

The shop had been at the Princess St address for more than a decade and had never had any trouble in the past.

"We have no clue why it happened," Mr Murray said.

"Anyone with information can contact the Bundaberg police."
