UNIVERSITY of New South Wales has held a graduation ceremony that has seen three students from the Coffs Harbour Rural Clinical School top the class.

Nikki Jeffery took out first place, followed by Stephanie Francis and Tim Eviston - they have all received first class honours. Three other students from the Coffs campus of UNSW graduated with honours.

Previously, Coffs Harbour students have all done well in the Faculty of Medicine, the top student for 2007 was also Coffs trained.

Many local doctors and specialists can be proud of the students' achievements as their guidance plays an integral part of the education at the Rural Clinical School.
