Liz beats graffiti

LIZ Scholten was so sick of seeing graffiti on the Emerald Beach Reserve toilet block she decided to do something about it.

The Emerald Beach local often walks past the area and was disappointed to see the lovely mural on the toilet block had been spoiled by vandals painting obscene images over it.

“I think the graffiti has been there since February and being a long-time resident I was hoping someone would clean it up but that didn’t happen,” Liz said.

“It was a shame to see it left that long so I thought I would get out my paints and have a go.

“I felt sorry for the person who had painted the original mural.” Liz soon got a crowd watching and agreeing with her view as she cleaned up the wall.
