THIS year's memorial convoy was certainly big on the spirit of "doing it for our mates."

Countless trucks in both convoys; the one heading east from Withcott and other running west out of Wacol proudly displayed banners and placards in honour of their friends and family members who have left us and who are now running heaven's highways.

Big Rigs counted more than 130 trucks out Withcott, but at the time of writing, the Wacol numbers weren't available.

But the truck count doesn't really matter, it's the fact that so many did turn out to not just support the event but to remember, and to also celebrate life with a day out, off the road.

Here's a selection of the people and the trucks of this year's convoy.
