Life's busy journey shared

ONE of Australia’s most inspirational women dropped into Coffs Harbour this week.

Brigette Muir, the first Australian woman to climb Mount Everest and the first Australian person to climb the highest mountains on each of the seven continents, was at Southern Cross University to speak to staff as part of the university’s Development Program for Women.

In more recent years, Brigitte has been busy with explorations through painting and filmmaking and with a degree in archaeology, history of art and musicology, and an achievement list longer than your arm, it was an incredible experience for all involved as Ms Muir shared her experiences and inspirational stories with program attendees.
