Letter to the Editor - Wednesday, December 10: Not up to job

I WOULD like to remind our council and its general manager, that it is not Monopoly Money you are spending, it is ratepayers' hard-earned money, and we expect it to be used wisely.

You were put where you are to oversee our basic services, and future needs within a reasonable budget. No ratepayer can ask for a 16% increase in their income so it seems to me it is time to put in an administrator to oversee this council as the present administration is not up to the job.
