Letter to the Editor - Saturday, October 25:Lipstick on a pig

HOW else could you describe demolishing a park to install traffic lights to replace a functioning roundabout than "lipstick on a pig"?

How else could you describe plans to build a multi-million-dollar entertainment centre when the creeks of Coffs are choked with rubbish than "lipstick on a pig"?

So when the next flood comes and the water can't get away I guess we can all go to the entertainment centre, put on our lipstick and play at being happy - that is if the traffic lights have not shorted out by being underwater.
