Letter to the Editor - Saturday, June 7: Just plane wrong
ON WEDNESDAY we took our son to the airport to catch a Qantas plane to Sydney.
We were shocked to find out that all the regular Qantas check-in staff that we got to know over many years were retrenched.
These staff members were very friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them.
What does this say about a company that rewards its loyal employees with redundancy instead of congratulating them on a job well done.
