Letter to the Editor - Saturday, June 27: Wild tobacco issue

RECENT visitors, including myself and family, have got to be impressed with the scale of improvements at the Dangar Falls reservation area just out of Dorrigo.

There has obviously been a major commitment by the local community in doing the hard work here, cleaning up the creek site and providing extra facilities such as the labyrinth and better pathways for the benefit of visitors.

I am curious however as to why only privet seems to have been chosen for eradication, (Advocate, June 24) while another listed noxious weed, wild tobacco, appears to have been allowed to flourish.
