"We are starting a bit behind the eight ball as far as the other clubs are concerned but having Adam on board will get the ball rolling fairly quickly," president Peter Brown predicted.

"Being a player with the club will be something to be proud of and it's been decided to be as professional as possible with doing things.

"Attending training sessions and being fit will be a prime requirement and to help with this, a very experienced conditioner and training coach will be appointed.

"Any interested players should turn up at the Tuesday training sessions to discuss the exciting future plans we have for the Seahorses."

Brown hears rumours many players will follow former coach Steven Spencer to Sawtell, but is confident of no mass defections.
