Laughs light up tenant meeting

HOUSING providers and tenants across the region are being invited to attend the Northern Regional Tenant Conference in Coffs Harbour next month.

John-Paul Bell, the renowned ‘Clown Doctor’ from the Humour Foundation, will be the guest speaker at the conference which starts on Thursday, April 22.

“This is our eighth Regional Tenant Conference and to have John-Paul as our guest is thrilling as he is a truly remarkable speaker,” said Wendy LeBlanc, co-ordinator of Northern Links.

“The work of the Humour Foundation is so important, we are glad to be able to help spread the word and laughter about what they do.”

Maintenance problems, water charges, call centre problems, rent review delays are some of the serious issues up for discussion at the conference but there will be laughter and a bit of fun too.

If you rent your home from Housing NSW, Community Housing or Aboriginal Housing and would like to attend give Wendy a call at Northern Links Inc., on 1800 088 592.
