Latest art and craft at Lillipilli

MORE than 350 works of art will go on display on April 17 in the 2009 Coffs Harbour Lillipilli Art and Craft Exhibition.

The exhibition at the Norm Jordan Pavilion, Coffs Showground, will be the largest exhibition of its type for the year between Sydney and Brisbane.

All works will have been completed in the last 12 months, so each Lillipilli Exhibition is new, novel and unique, reflecting the latest work from exhibiting artists

There are 24 separate categories of arts and crafts, including an extensive youth section, and it will be open to the public from Saturday morning, April 18 until Sunday, April 26.

The Lillipilli Exhibition runs during the school holidays, allowing families from near and far to visit this outstanding annual event.

The Coffs Harbour Showgrounds are beside the Pacific Highway right in the heart of town, with ample on-site parking.

Organising and running the Lillipilli Exhibition is a major undertaking by the volunteer-run Woolgoolga Art Group, which expects to welcome more than 3500 visitors to the show again this year.

  • All works are for sale, and the exhibition will be open daily between 10am and 4pm.
