Last day for Lillipilli art

ANTICIPATION is mounting as the dead- line for the 2010 Coffs Harbour Lillipilli Art and Craft Exhibition looms.

Today is the final day entries will be accepted into the 25th anniversary of the legendary local competition.

Artists have 23 categories of art and craft to consider, from all forms of painting and drawing through calligraphy, ceramics, photography, fibrecraft and woodwork to mosaics and sculpture.

For off-beat artists who create more eccentric artworks, there is even a section titled Other Art Form, a repository for wild, woolly and wonderful artistic oddities.

Artists can enter one piece per category but can enter as many different categories as they like. Each work must have been completed since last year’s Lillipilli Exhibition, which ensures a new and unique exhibition is held each year.

Entry forms are available in Coffs Harbour from Fletchers Fotographics, The Book Warehouse, The Art Shop, at art galleries throughout the region, or by emailing woolgoolgaartgroup@yahoo.com. au or bbloor@tpg.com. au.
