Ladies feted by the lads at rugby park

COFFS Snappers will pay tribute to their ladies today as the club prepares to meet Kempsey at TG Jung Quarries Rugby Park.

"Wives, girlfriends, grannies and sisters from both teams are welcome," spokesman Paul Butcher said.

"It's great to have Kempsey here as they are a fantastic bunch on and off the field and will truly be a tough ask for us. Coach Rob Waddy has flanker Cameron Sweeney available and it's great to see Loren Cloete in first grade after he was sensational in lower grades."

Southern Cross University is home at Marlins Park with a visit from Port Pirates providing a challenge.

"Port has a large and physical side but our coach Brett Davis is confident we have the potential for another win," senior player Simon Donald said.

"In the Kempsey win we saw more moments of brilliance with champagne rugby resulting in several entertaining tries. Attention to detail and a strong game plan could result in a more clinical and clean approach."
