Kim shows her slow, easy the way to warm winter meals
WANT to create hearty winter dishes for your family but don't want to spend all day doing it?
Best-selling author of the 4 Ingredients series, Kim McCosker, will be in Gympie Library on Thursday, June 15 to share her tips for saving time and money on family meals and just making life easier.
With her new The Easiest Slow Cooker Book ever! in her hands, Kim will introduce easy meals that can be set in a slow cooker appliance on a cool winter morning, ready for dinner on an even colder night when the family comes home from school, sports training and work.
Kim will welcome questions from Gympie cooks keen to learn how to simplify short, cold nights by spending just 10 minutes in the morning preparing minimal but flavourful ingredients for dinner.

A slow cooker appliance runs on very little energy, saving electricity costs and hours in the kitchen.
Where they really shine, though, is in the money you'll save and the hearty meals you'll create in what is essentially a simplified oven, not just to tenderise cheaper cuts of meat but to make deliciously creamy oats for breakfast and treats like brownies, slices and fruit cobblers.
Kim's Gympie Library talk starts at 10am.
