Key gets accreditation

A LOCAL disability employment service is celebrating its recent accreditation as a Registered Training Company (RTO). Key Employment is well known throughout the region for its work in finding jobs for people with disability and has now achieved this milestone for its training arm.

Key Employment will deliver training under the banner of Training @ Key Employment which is the registered name of the RTO and will be established in new premises at 4/1 Duke Street, Coffs Harbour and run from training rooms in Grafton, Yamba, Nambucca Heads and Kempsey.

Gerry Heaney, manager of the new training company, is very excited by the success.

“The company is now seen as a provider of high quality, nationally recognised training that meets the standards of the Australian Quality Training Framework,” Mr Heaney said.

“What that means to local people looking for work is great training that is geared to getting them good jobs or that will improve their careers.”

Training@Key Employment has already improved the skills of hundreds of people with a disability and is looking forward to extending their individualized and flexible courses into accredited programs.
