‘Kel’ joins the Short Sharp Film Festival panel

A VOICE familiar to many locals will be joining the judging panel for next month's Short Sharp Film Festival.

Kelly McLoughlin-Wilden who is the "Kel" of "Breakfast with EJ and Kel" on Radio 2CS, brings a wealth of theatre experience, a love of film and a razor sharp wit to this year's festival.

Also joining the panel is Allan Maxwell from Sydney's Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) who has a long history in film and design and when not creating his own magic, he teaches up and coming game and animation designers at AIE.

The festival's third judge is the woman who started it all eight years ago, Christina Hyde.

Christina has extensive film experience including a stint in the Los Angeles independent film sector, a commercial development role with Film Victoria, and management of ScreenLinks, the regional screen office for the Mid North Coast.

The Short Sharp Film Festival is set down for the Jetty Memorial Theatre on Saturday, August 16.

Tickets are available from the theatre box office.
