Letter to the Editor - April 16: Keep taxes in state schools

TAXPAYERS fund private school orchestra pits and swimming pools.

This has to be stopped immediately as it is a perfect case of the wealthy governing for the wealthy and they don't want a royal commission into the banks.

They don't want any investigations into any corrupt practices for fear it will cost them the next Federal Election.

One school mentioned is St Ignatius (Riverview College) the former school of Tony Abbott situated at Lane Cove. The amount spent on St Ignatius was somewhere in the vicinity of $22 million.
