Karlie targeting All Schools title

DISTANCE runner Karlie Swanson has qualified for the Australian All Schools Athletics Championships to be held in Adelaide in December.

She made the grade with her latest challenge, winning the NSW 17-years 3000m title at her first start for the season.

The Coffs Harbour Senior College student already has a World Schools Championship to her name after a successful trip to Israel last April but the South Australian sojourn will be hugely important to career prospects.

Already tipped to have what it takes for top grade competition, Australian selectors and coaches will have Karlie on their lists of likely prospects.
