POP star Justin Bieber landed in Melbourne to crowds of screaming fans to promote his new album on Monday.

Bieber flew in to Australia on a private jet to help boost sales of his second album, Believe.

On the same day as his arrival, Bieber reached 25 million followers on social media forum Twitter.

The carefully co-ordinated visit will include only one media interview on morning television in Sydney on Wednesday.
