Just walkin' the dog

SINGER Wendy Matthews and photographer Toni Fuller (right) are proud animal lovers from way back.

So much so they're raising money for the RSPCA in our region through two special Coffs Harbour events.

The first will have them pounding the pavement in Sunday's Million Paws Walk and the other is a concert they've organised for June 28, when Wendy will perform at the Jetty Memorial Theatre.

The Walk starts at the RSPCA shelter in Dowsett Drive, off Christmas Bells Road, at 10am, but you can register by donation from 9am.

Wendy and her border collie, Bear, will lead the 2km event which wraps up with a novelty dog show, doggie games and a WIRES sausage sizzle.

At the fundraising concert, which comes at the end of Wendy's national tour, she'll sing tracks from her latest album, She.

The concert also includes an exhibition of Toni's photographs capturing the singer and autographed prints.
