Amble Inn for sale for $10m

GOT a spare $10 million up your sleeve?

If so, the landmark Amble Inn Hotel at Corindi Beach, a popular fixture at the village since 1986, could be yours to own.

Hotel spokesman Mick Taylor said the property was put on the market 12 months ago because one of the four local partners had become ill.

“It will be a shame to see it go,” Mr Taylor said.

“It's a beautiful timber hotel. We built it and cut all the timber at Halfway Creek ourselves.

“Interest in the hotel was looking good there for a while but interest rates went through the roof. But the way interest rates are going, this should generate some interest.

“The 10 acres of land we have here is a really good development site, and Corindi is really starting to take off.

“Corindi and the surrounding areas support the hotel, which probably has the biggest beer garden and entertainment area on the coast.”
