Juniors ready for Enduro tournament

PLAYERS get back into tournament mode on Sunday with the Coffs One Day Enduro under way from 9.30am.

After taking part in the NSW Age Championships, players have shown improvement and are eager to take part in the division format where players have been graded on abilities and age.

The beginner novice group will have plenty of games for ages seven to 11 and it's encouraging to see these youngsters starting out as they soon adapt and become very capable of playing the basic game.

Entries have exceeded last year so it's a positive sign of the development programs at the centre and the children have a fun day with the support of surrounding regional centres.

COMPETITIONS

Nominations for this round of competition are open, with grading under way.

Players wanting to get a good workout can phone the centre on

6653 6523 to register.

New players Kristian Rhoden and Steve Woodhead have quickly fitted into the swing of things on Tuesday and strengthened the mid lines.

Their experience will be tested by younger improvers, with Jonathan Koster, Nathan Tidey and Peter Becker continuing to impress.

Junior Friday competition returned with a new-look line-up. A number of players have been promoted up a grade in the lines format, with Joshua Lim, Daniel Nargar and Lachlan Walmsley moving to line one.

Max Hicks, Sebastian Williams and Barton Fletcher have been promoted to line two, while Madison Nargar and Mia Ross-O'Grady make up the new-look line three grouping.

Anyone looking to join in the popular Friday program should inquire to the centre.
