Jets in town as Coffs Harbour prepares for A-league match

COFFS Harbour is counting down to the return of A-League football in the city and today the Newcastle Jets gave juniors time out of their FFA Cup training schedule.

The Jets are embarking on a Northern New South Wales preseason training tour as they prepare for their opening FFA Cup match against Perth in a fortnight's time.

Training outside C.ex Coffs Stadium, the Jets then dedicated the afternoon to juniors of the game, putting on a skills training session.

The stopover comes as Coffs Harbour prepares for the return of A-League football when the Western Sydney Wanderers meet the Central Coast Mariners on Friday, August 7 at the stadium.
