BLUES centre Michael Jennings was cautious in wet weather training in Coffs Harbour today.

The Roosters speedster has been nursing a visible leg injury he's been carrying this season.

"The knees going to be 100%," he said.

Jennings will mark Queensland centre Justin Hodges in this year's interstate series which begins in Sydney on Wednesday.

Jennings said he would look to get one-on-one with his opposite number as much as possible.

"I'd back myself to go up against Hodgo, I wouldn't be here if I didn't," he said.

No doubt he'll have to keep sight of Maroons Roosters teammate Aiden Guerra who will lock the scrum for Queensland.
