Home and Away's James Stewart ditches the dad bod. Here's how
HOME and Away's James Stewart has undergone a full body transformation to make his upcoming 42nd birthday.
The poster boy for the show is the latest celebrity to teamed up with Men's Health magazine to take part in an eight week program to one again regain that action man body status.
"I wasn't overweight, but I didn't feel in shape," Stewart told the TK issue of the magazine, adding he had " a couple of pizza's on either side of the midsection."
So with the help of a trainer - who pushed him so hard he could "feel the lunch coming up in you throat and your usual reaction is to stop" and a disciplined eating across the holiday season, Stewart got rid of his dad bod.
Now he says he can keep up with his "bundle of energy" daughter Scout, who is five and is hoping his new body will help him score the action-hero roles which come with a prerequisite with a certain type of body.
Singer and songwriter Guy Sebastian also undertook Men's Healths challenge, as has The Morning Show's Larry Emdur.
