Blood types identified at centre

KIRSTY Nelson feared it would be painful but was pleasantly surprised when she turned up to find out her blood type.

Yesterday, Kirsty was one of dozens who took advantage of the Coffs Harbour Blood Donor Centre’s offer to identify blood types at the Coffs Harbour Education Centre.

The Coffs Harbour Blood Donor Centre was hoping those who checked out their ‘type’ would move on to become blood donors.

“I have always wanted to find out what my blood type was – so it was a great experience,” said Kirsty.

“I thought it was going to hurt – but it didn’t.”

And Kirsty found out her blood type is B.
