It’s by the sea, for all to see

A BEACH north of Woolgoolga, which many would argue is a piece of natural art in its own right, has become an organic gallery.

Safety Beach reader Howard Dengate sent in these photos of an art installation which appeared on Mullaway Beach after the last full moon.

Howard said the artist did not want to be identified but it's believed he is a regular visitor to the area and lives on the New England plateau.

"He has been doing this for some years and wants no publicity," Howard told the Advocate in an email.

"We caught him at it and he said he loves to watch the sea take it away piece by piece.

"In the meantime he gives a lot of pleasure to walkers and visitors to the beach."
